Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease: The Basics

This Community Education event featured an expert discussion on the basics of Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, including "What is Dementia?" "Are Alzheimer's and Dementia the Same Thing?" "Is Dementia a Normal Part of Aging?" Participants learned about the causes of dementia and related diseases,  the early warning signs, and  what to do should you suspect that you or a loved one are having memory loss related to dementia. This event is free to the public and part of the New Town Dementia Caring Community education series.
