For January, we combined two of our New Town Dementia Caring Community activities into a single event: a Caregiver Support Group Memory Cafe! This combined event took place in our Memory Cafe location at the Dallas James Public Library (see location information at right).
A Memory Café is a safe and comfortable space where people with memory loss and their care partners can socialize, have fun, offer each other support, and exchange helpful information. Memory Cafés are free and open to all community members with memory loss, Alzheimer's disease, or related dementia & their care partners.
